God wants you to grow deeper in your personal relationship with Him by revealing knowledge of Himself to help you know what He is like and Who He is. God does so through the Spirit of Truth, revealing those characteristics of God that allows you to understand Who He truly is – God’s Attributes. He makes known in a variety of ways what God reveals about Himself in His Names, His Word, His Actions, and His Deeds, so you can begin to wrap your thoughts around how truly loved and valued are by Him, forever.

God’s attributes are His essential characteristics that are inseparable from His Total Being that reveals His characteristics and identity to you. He does so because He created you as His image-bearer to bear the expression or image of God. You are a “photograph” of God, and your characteristics are copies of His. In giving Himself for you and to you, He took His own nature and likeness and fashioned a new creation just like Him—to love with unlimited passion. As His Image-Bearer, you are His personal representative to reflect His Attributes into all His creation. (Genesis 1:26, 2 Corinthians 5:20)
