Last week we saw Habakkuk’s second complaint. He was still confused after hearing God’s first reply, and he gave the Lord a series of questions once again.As Chapter 1 closes, one may think that Habakkuk had given up hope in God answering him, but listen to the first verse of Chapter 2: Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.May we exude such faith as we wait for the Lord to answer our prayers!
Today, we will see God’s reply to Habakkuk’s second complaint. In Verse 4, we see His answer: Habakkuk 2:4"See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright---but the righteous will live by his faith— My prayer for PFBC has been for us to live by our faith.
