This message explores God’s personal and loving appeal through the Gospel. From Isaiah’s words—“Fear not, for I have redeemed thee… thou art Mine” (Isaiah 43:1)—to Jesus’ interactions with the thankful Samaritan (Luke 17) and the woman at the well (John 4), we see a God who calls us by name and seeks true worshippers. The Gospel is more than a command; it’s a heartfelt invitation from our Creator to respond with worship, gratitude, and trust. Will you answer His call?
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Isaiah 43:1 “43 But now thus saith Jehovah, that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou art mine.”
Isaiah 43:3 “3 For I [am] Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel”
Isaiah 43:5 “5 Fear not, for I [am] with thee”
Luke 17:15-18 “15 And one of them, seeing that he was cured, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,16 and fell on [his] face at his feet giving him thanks: and *he* was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? but the nine, where [are they]?18 There have not been found to return and give glory to God save this stranger. 19 And he said to him, Rise up and go thy way: thy faith has made thee well.”
John 4:21-24 “21 Jesus says to her, Woman, believe me, [the] hour is coming when ye shall neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem worship the Father.22 Ye worship ye know not what; we worship what we know, for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But [the] hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for also the Father seeks such as his worshippers.24 God [is] a spirit; and they who worship him must worship [him] in spirit and truth.”
