I hope when you were a kid, your parents told you what was in your best interest to do and showed you how to do those things. If you were a pretty good kid, most of the time you did what they said, though probably not because you always "got" their reasons. It's a virtually universal experience: As we mature, the wisdom behind those reasons to become more clear . 

The same can be said with regard to growing up spiritually under the wisdom of our Heavenly Father. The more I grow up, the more I get why God says "See to it you make EVERYTHING according "to the pattern" (Hebrews 8:5). What pattern? His pattern under the New Order (or Testament) we are to follow thoughtfully, with precision. The longer I live, I see more and more clearly the brilliance behind following God's divine patterns of morality both as we build our lives individually and as we build the spiritual temple, that is His church (1 Timothy 3:15) and even as we collectively build a culture. 

This podcast is a personal record of what I've observed so far during my first five decades of life and my opinions of how we got to where we are today and where to find the path back to real progress.

If you are on the wrong road progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man. And I think if you look at the present state of the world it's pretty plain that humanity has been making some big mistake. We're on the wrong road. And if that is so we must go back.
