The exiles of Judah face opposition and discouragement in the rebuilding of the wall around Jerusalem. Their experience was much like ours as believers. We want to fulfill all God has for us, but face challenges and opposition. Just as God helped Nehemiah and the people of Judah to fulfill His calling for them, so he will help us become the people he has called us to be.
