God is always with us whenever we need Him. This includes His comfort—He is there to help. As well, evangelization is to share the love of Christ with others. Sharing His love consists of pointing people to Jesus. Jesus came for the broken and hurting. The Lord is not just listening but he's always by our side providing comfort.
