There is a hilarious idea that God was once a brutal dictator in the old testament breathing fire upon those who disobeyed, but somehow became influenced by Western rule and embraced 'democracy' when Jesus came, as though He went to a rehab. The Bible says otherwise, God has always been gracious and Kind and was ever so keen on justifying us through faith, His plan has always been a family, like Paul writes to the Ephesian church, 'Members of the Household of God, restored by Jesus Christ. He says this though the Prophet Jeremiah 'I will be their God, and they shall be my people
Jesus really didn't come to unveil a new testament, but to restore the true one, a covenant built of the sacrificial love of God and by faith in Him.
The Holy Scriptures says that God COMMENDED(Showed) His Love towards us in that when we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly.
