Genesis 2:20-24, Song of Songs 1:1-4, 1 Corinthians 7

God’s Word reveals the gift of sexual love that finds its expression in the union of husband and wife. Yet, in our broken world filled with broken people, sin has affected all aspects of humanity’s being, including our sexuality. Jesus’ redeeming work on the cross points us towards God’s plan for understanding and practicing His plan for human sexuality, and a wide open heart to care for, nurture, and comfort those and their families who struggle in this area.

Key Verse: The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. (Genesis 2:23-24)
