Marriage is a covenant of commitment unto death God established between a man and a woman as a means of testifying to the world His own faithful character. It is intended to illustrate to those who come into the marriage covenant the gloriousness of God's own faithful commitment to us in intimate relationship, but also to demonstrate to the world God's long-suffering and love even in the midst of humanity's own unfaithfulness to Him.
