an honorable position.”

Big Idea:

God has high expectations for His leaders.

To be a leader in the Church:

1. Is a desirable Kingdom assignment.

2. Requires spiritual maturation.

3. Invites transferable character.

5 Levels of Leadership (Maxwell)

Biblical Leadership Qualities:

1. Sexually above reproach

2. Mentally and emotionally stable

3. Well-behaved

4. Good reputation

5. Hospitable

6. Knows the Bible

7. Not overindulgent

8. Gentle, patient, and peace-loving

9. Generous

10. Manages family well

11. Not a new Christian
