Pastor Ben continues our series, "The Gifts of Advent" with a powerful reflection on God’s promises. Through the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, we see how God’s promises resist the narrative of despair, reverse the curses of shame, remain consistent with His character, and ultimately resolve in celebration. Even in seasons of silence and disappointment, the Lord remembers His covenant, turns sorrow into joy, and prepares His people for the coming of Christ. This message invites us to trust that our deepest aches will one day be exchanged for beauty, hope, and rejoicing.
