I have a question for you, ‘Why does God make such a fuss when dishing out His goodness and mercy?’ The answer is relatively simple: ‘because it is His name that is maligned when we fail to live according to it’. The sad reality of most people, Christians included; at times we know evil more intimately than we know goodness and that’s not a good thing either. Can you agree, are there not times that I want to get even, to be made even, my debts paid; whatever it may takes! I still, even with that attitude, want no blemish, no reason to feel guilt or fear, we want to stand in the sight of God, just and right and clean. When we’re this way, we know it. And when we’re not, we know that, too. It is all inside of us, each of us. We know who we are.
