Relationships rooted in intuition run on the currency of self, and everything it costs to hold them together gets charged to you.
This teaching draws a sharp line between God's intention and human intuition as the foundation of a relationship. When a union is built on what you want, what you see, what you project onto another person, you become the expenditure. When it is built on God's intention, you bring your attention to the One who holds the intention, and rest becomes possible. The teaching then moves into the cost of inappropriate silence, naming it precisely: what you fail to say when the Spirit leads you to speak does not disappear. It accumulates, and it consumes the peace God assigned for the union. Oneness is not built on unexpressed desires or unclarified assumptions, and the Holy Spirit leads not only in when to speak but in how, shaping your words so that you are not fighting to be right but moving toward being one. The vices that disrupt rest in a relationship, fear, offense, rejection, pride, entitlement, lose their grip when two people are first one with God and then with each other.
