As we consider “God’s Light” in this Advent Season, we’re amazed that in Jesus God came to earth. Let’s say that again...in Jesus, God who is Light...came...to earth! Why though? Why did God come to us? There is no passage that proclaims the answer to those questions better than Luke 19:10 “The Son of Man came to seek and to save that which is lost.” Said according to our sermon series, God came to shine light on those who are living in darkness. Amazing. He came to seek us in the dark. Amazing grace. He came to save us and bring us into the light. Amazing love. Amazing light. God’s Light! “God’s Light Proclaimed.”
