Have you ever thought about the Bible as a cohesive book? I didn't. It's not what I was taught growing up... I always had the idea that it was a hodgepodge of different writers who were inspired at different times to put down important, and unrelated, moral stories that God wanted us to hear. But what if we accept that the Bible is one cohesive storyline written by only one author... using a number of ghost writers? Couldn't we then say that, like other books, there is likely a plot line, main characters, and... a main idea? Today I'm making the case for a main idea- a theme that God ensures rings throughout all the stories and all the writers... see if you agree.
