In order to understand what Paul means by the gospel "according to the mystery of Christ," we must have clarity about the promises that God made to Abraham in the Abrahamic Covenant. In Part 2, we focused primarily on the promises that relate to the nation of Israel. In this session, we shift our focus to the promises that pertain to Israel's calling, the nations, the resurrection, and the inheritance of the land. What did God mean when he promised that Abraham would be the "father of a multitude"? What was the hope burning in Abraham's heart when God promised that Abraham and his seed would inherit the land forever?
