Malayalam:

“അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, മതിയാക്കേണമേ;

യാക്കോബ് എങ്ങനെ നിവിർന്നുനില്ക്കും? അവൻ ചെറിയവനല്ലോ”

എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യഹോവ അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അനുതപിച്ചു;

“അതു സംഭവിക്കയില്ല” എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

English (AMP):

“Then I said, “O Lord God, please stop! How can Jacob stand,

For he is so small [that he cannot endure this]?”

The Lord revoked this sentence. “This also shall not be,” said the Lord God.”
