As we walk through this journey of life, there will be seasons where it seems like the light has gone out. Or perhaps it’s still there, but clouds are covering yoru view. What do you do when it feels like the light has gone out? 

Journal questions: 

• Read Acts 16: 16-40
  • What is your first response when something unfair happens to you? 
  • What song or prayer can be your weapon when the darkness falls? 
  • What resulted from Paul and Silas praying and keeping the faith even when the world turned dark? 
  • What did it take to be saved? (Hint: verse 31) 
• Write a note to yourself for the next time you find yourself in a dark situation. Find a few stories of scripture that remind you that God is faithful even when the world feels dark. You may even list a few songs you can sing when that moment arises.
