Matthew 26:1-75
In this text, we see Jesus talking about his crucifixion, betrayal, and resurrection, and how his own disciples were going to desert him. Jesus, as God in the flesh, knew what was to come, how his life was going to end, and he did not want his will to be done but the Father's. He experienced human emotions, as he grieved and was distressed, but that did not stop him from completing and fulfilling his mission on earth. Today, I encourage you to actively seek the Father's will for your life and to place your trust in his comprehensive understanding of your journey on earth. He desires our complete trust in his plan, as he knows what is best for us. He guides us with a firm hand, using certain situations to foster our growth and to encourage our submission to his will, as he possesses all knowledge.
