FREEDOM!

As a teenager, I couldn’t wait to leave home and finally have “my freedom.” 

When I finally got the freedom I thought was out there in the real world, I discovered something I hadn’t expected:  my freedom came with a lot of responsibility. 

I began longing to go back home where my parents took care of the responsibilities — especially at Christmas.

Like me, God’s children wanted their freedom.  They, too, quickly learned that life outside of the protection of home was not what they'd expected.

In the final episode of this 4-part series, I’m excited to explore how much God is longing to welcome us back home.

Ever since Adam and Eve left Eden, at the very core of God’s plan for Christmas has been His desire for us to be back home in heaven with Him.
