God’s Prophetic Personality

Listen Later

God’s Prophetic Personality
In today’s unstable and unpredictable world, never before has there been a greater need to be fully reliant on the WORD of God!
There is a need to deepen our knowledge and extend our trust.
MORE THAN KNOWING THE PROMISE
Promise-based Christianity is the start. But as we enter times of such radical opposition to the morality and principles of God, we have to move to be completely immersed in His prophetic personality.
A flesh-based hope has us hoping only that a promise of God may come through for us at the right moment. We see the fulfillment of God’s Word as a miracle and not normality.
Promises have become about what His Word does for us. But When God speaks, His entire personality weighs in for all time, radically changing every dimension.
His character becomes a reality.
God is Love. – There is love in our lives because love is part of God’s personality. His love prophetically spoke of Jesus’ defeat of Satan. His Word was spoken, but His character was revealed.
His character is presented by His Word being spoken.
His character is light, so when He speaks, there is LIGHT
His character is truth; when He sends His spirit, it is the Spirit of Truth.
His character is grace, so when He judges and adjudicates, he loves through His justice even while we are sinners.
What Assurance We Have Because of The Character of God!
John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
To step from the darkness, we need to SEE and KNOW – Comprehend.
John 14:9 NKJV
He who has seen Me has seen the Father…
John 17:3 NKJV
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
There is a depth to our knowing and seeing that I believe is still yet to come in the church at large.
It is a move from simply loving the promises as they relate to our circumstances and hoping they come to be towards a prophetic foresight and assurance of God’s character and personality in all things.
Forward, not Back!
Abraham looked to Jesus’ coming, and we look back towards that same event rather than the prophetic event of Jesus’ return.
Christianity has become the study of WHAT to do, not WHO is coming.
Ephesians 2:1-3 TPT
And his fullness fills you , even though you were once like corpses, dead in your sins and offenses. It wasn’t that long ago that you lived in the religion, customs, and values of this world, obeying the dark ruler of the earthly realm who fills the atmosphere with his authority, and works diligently in the hearts of those who are disobedient to the truth of God. The corruption that was in us from birth was expressed through the deeds and desires of our self-life. We lived by whatever natural cravings and thoughts our minds dictated, living as rebellious children subject to God’s wrath like everyone else.
Promises release us from the circumstances that bind us so that we can be fully engaged with the prophetic word of God.
Ephesians 2:4-6 TPT
But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!
Who He Is (Know) – What He Does (See)
His personality frees us from accusation.
His personality always calls us on to more.
His personality overtakes ours.
1. His Personality Frees Us From Accusation.
Satan wants us to believe we are what we do.
That way, h
