God's prophetic salvation is a miracle. It started with Adam and Eve. God took away the fig leaves of their own righteousness and he covered them himself. Jesus is our covering today. "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive" (1 Corinthians 15:22). God foreshadowed his salvation in many ways.

All of us live in the daily miracle of time. Once time is called, it will be too late to come under the covering that God has provided in Christ. Death will close the door on time. Death is the enemy of God. Jesus is on God's throne calling all people to himself before time comes to an end. "For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death" (1 Corinthians 15:25-26). Jesus Christ proved this reality by rising from the dead.
