Mindfulness: A popular term used for meditation and thoughtful reflection on one's inner being is not a new idea to Christianity. However, our mindfulness is described as setting our minds on things above! Instead of looking inward, we look upward to the One who has declared us His own in our baptism and by the gift of faith. Our value is determined not by our own inward reflection but in what He has said about us in sacrificial love.
