We last saw Habakkuk complaining to God, because he believed that God was not acting or doing anything about the sin that burdened him and the other righteous remnant in Judah. God responded to Habakkuk's complaint and told him that even that he, the sovereign God, was at work in the world to purge the sin from among his people. Christians today can also trust the sovereign work of God.
