Pastor Ty joins Mark and Pastor Paul again for another installment in this series of episodes that take a closer look at the Bible--where it came from, how it came to be, and why we should trust it. Today, these three students of the Word examine some of the more nitty-gritty areas of Bible study, including:

  • The origins of the Bible: Where do our modern translations come from? Can we have confidence in these translations?
  • Textual criticism: Is the modern-day skepticism and cynicism that seems to surround the Bible warranted? Are "missing" texts from some of the original documents as scandalous as some might think?
  • The Gospels: How do the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John work together to tell some of the same stories in four unique ways? Why are their writing styles so different? And what is this fabled "Q" source all about?
