Psalm 118 expresses the thankfulness of God's people for His deliverance from their enemies. In doing so, the psalmist connects how one's remembrance of God's deliverance in the past influences our present understanding and worship of God as we live each day under the theme: "This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
