After finding out she was pregnant just months before high school graduation, LaQuinta Pollard's life took a hard turn. Instead of college, she found herself a single momma, raising her son.  Even If her life had taken an unexpected twist, she never lost sight of two things: 1) her family was her primary ministry, and 2) she kept the dream of a college education alive.

Encouraged by her grandmother, it may have taken LaQuinta a little while to finish her associates degree. But she didn't stop there. She now has her bachelor's AND masters degrees, and is currently pursuing her doctorate.

Listen as Kristi and LaQuinta talk about everything from the early days of discovering she was pregnant, the wisdom her grandmother imparted to her, and how the Lord gave LaQuinta a beautiful vision for her future.
