" God’s Timing Welded Between Pillars of Hope

Listen Later

Hello, my name is Maria E. White, and I am the author of Chosen Vessels Pray with Purpose and Passion. Welcome to my Chosen Vessels Pray Podcast!

In this episode, we will spend some time reflecting on God's Word using references from Psalms 73 and 75, with particular emphasis on Psalms 73:2-4 and 75:1-3. (NKJV). Throughout our time together, we will use God's Word to guide us through life's challenges, one chat or episode at a time.

Today's discussion focuses on several Psalms 73 and 75 phrases that spoke to me over the past two weeks. I cannot speak for you, but I have experienced what I call I am “between a rock and a hard place or basically in a difficult situation.” My emotions have been up and down, and down and up in this season of my life.   But what I have come to know is that no matter what state I am in, I know that I am in the middle of the presence of the Lord.  I am surrounded and wedged as well as welded during God’s love and timing He has for my life.  Recently, I embarked on a new journey in my life and became a certified Mental Health Aid Facilitator so that I could assist those within my community.  I wanted to let people know that there is hope and that “God’s timing is welded between pillars of hope.”

As I thought about God’s extraordinary power, I could then begin to reflect on His choice of proper timing for each of us.  As I have spoken previously, I considered the Hebrew meaning of “choice of proper timing.”  What I learned was that following this phrase let us each know that God’s appointed place, appointed time, meeting; appointed time; appointed sacred season, set feast, appointed season; appointed meeting; appointed place; appointed sign or signal He chooses.  So, if you are in a holding pattern or feel that your current stance right now is a posture of “being still,” learn to be content in the state that you are in because as Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 lets us know that “life is made up of many events, each of which has its own “season” and “purpose” in the ultimate scheme of God’s plan.” In His time, we are born, we die, we kill, we heal, we break down, we build up, we weep, we laugh, we mourn, we dance, we cast away stones, we gather stones, we embrace, we reframe from embracing, we gain, we lose, we keep, we throw away, we tear, we sew, we keep silent, we speak, we love, we hate, we have war and we enjoy peace. No matter your season or its purpose, we can take refuge in knowing that God has pillars of hope firmly near us.  This leads me to the last few words that I pondered on, and I want to share with you those words are “set up its pillars firmly.”  According to their Hebrew meaning, God tells us that He is holding us up on a stand or a platform, and our faith is solidified in Him.
