In this passage of Scripture, Dr. Luke gives us an account of clash between the elite religious establishment and the scandal of the message of Jesus Christ. Stephen gives a defense which was brilliant and God honoring. In the process, he brought to light all the evidence of how the elite religious establishment and Israel ignored and disregarded God's truth. He did this by factually recapping Israel's history.
