When you read the parable of the sower it sums up how people receive the word. The condition of your heart determines the outcome the word of God produces.

Paul's prayer to the church at Ephesus is that the eyes of our understanding being enlightened Ephesians 1;18.

God is not withholding anything from us, he wants his children to enjoy the benefits of all that he has made available for us. Hold on to his word and let the ground of your heart yeild bountifully.
