For the past three decades Paul Gough, better known as Goffy has been one of the North East's most recognised and acclaimed Broadcasters. Working on Stations from Century, Metro, TFM and BBC Radio Tees.
This time on Radio Greats, Goffy sits down with Luke to reflect on the 30 Years of the Wireless, from listening to Radio Tees as a child, to working with the legend John Myers and being part of the launch team for Century 100-102. How Myers became a huge influence on him, working alongside Alan Robson on Metro and presenting shows for TFM. How a Moment in his life led him to develop a feature that would eventually become the foundations for BBC's Make a Difference and presenting shows on BBC Radio Tees.
Thanks to Paul Gough, Stevie Gee and Aircheck Downloads for use of content. Thank you to Stuart White for organising and arranging the interview.
