You cannot resist the devil through willpower. You resist him by submitting under God. Your temptations with money will not stop because you have enough.
For the believer, there’s such a thing as too much money.

Galatians 1:10 I can’t be a servant of Christ if I try to please men.
1 Thessa 2:4 Not pleasing men, but God who tries our hearts
Learn contentment. Every time you succumb to the pressure, you elevate things to a level that’s not sustainable.
2. Lay not treasures in this Earth
Matthew 6:19 - lay not treasures on Earth
If you live for the applause of men, tomorrow you’ll die from their rejection.
1 John 2:15-16 Love not the world, the lust of the flesh, the list of the eyes, the pride of life.
Galatians 6:8 Sowing to the flesh is destruction
3. Focus is sowing
Matthew 6:22-23 If I focus on light, I shall serve light, if I focus on the darkness, I shall serve darkness.
How to resist mammon
1. Contentment, 1 Timothy 6:6-10, Hebrews 13:5
Be free from the love of money
2. Have a Christ Centered image of yourself
3. Giving - Galatians 6:6
Giving is Christian practice. Don’t wait till there’s an instruction or divine prompting.
2 Coritinhians 8:14
4. Learn that satisfaction cannot be found in money
Ecc 5:10 - money can never satisfy, it is futile
Satisfaction comes from purpose. If you don’t know why God gives money, you will never be satisfied.
5. Be rich unto God (have Godly ambition)
2 Corinthians 9:7-8
Deuteronomy 8:18
You must have a bigger ambition than yourself. It is a waste of Gods resources to spend all his resources on yourself. Be rich unto God
