John McConnell was born into mining. He was raised in Emerald City, which was a lead zinc mine; his father was an underground electrician at the mine. Today, John is the CEO of Victoria Gold, and he's been with the company since exploration and right through construction.

The Eagle Gold project is set to begin producing gold in a matter of weeks, and prospects are looking very bright for both John and Victoria Gold.
