GOLDEN AXE (Sega - Arcade - 1989)
Golden Axe is a beat'em up game released by Sega in 1989 for the Arcade rooms, among other systems.
A tyrant named Death-Adder commanded an army that brought death and destruction in its wake, helding the King and his daughter in captive in their own castle.
By obtaining the legendary Golden Axe, the dark warrior released the demonic powers trapped between. Should the citizens of Yuria not bow down to his yoke, the royal family shall be executed by sunset.
Three renowned warriors join forces to avenge their loved ones murdered by Death-Adder's army. Armed with combat and magic prowess, they take the challenge to retrieve the mythical weapon and destroy the demon warrior forevermore.
