Please help in welcoming Joshua Ruiz from Guadalajara, Mexico whom I met while volunteering at the Sundance Film Festival 2023 this past January. 

Joshua is a Motion Digital Artist with Video Editing skills that have brought him to America to join the new generation of filmmakers that come to Sundance to see how the film business works. 

Like most movie fans, volunteers at Sundance usually LOVE films -quoting favorite lines from their favorite movie! Thus, friendships are quickly made and Joshua is seeking employment as a newly university graduate. Joshua offers his insights on the visions of his mind and how to make films more pure and less corrupt with greed. 

We all want to make a profit, but let's make the films pure of judgmental  rhetoric, and more enjoyable storytelling -seems to be Joshua's main theme.  Independent filmmaking is the theme of the Sundance and we embrace it as volunteers.
