Two friends eating and drinking their way through Goldfinch–Book 6 of the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy!
SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES
Recipes for food and cocktails mentioned in this episode:
Spicy Honey Garlic Butter Pasta
Ingredients:
Instructions:
Cook pasta until just al dente. Save ½ cup pasta water.
In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add chili flakes, honey, and soy sauce — let it bubble for 30 seconds.
Toss in pasta, adding a splash of pasta water to coat.
Finish with a bit more butter or a drizzle of honey if you want it extra glossy.
Wine/Cocktail Pairing: The Bloodline
Because this episode is all about family, legacy, and the kind of secrets that should’ve stayed buried.
Ingredients:
1½ oz bourbon½ oz Chambord (or raspberry liqueur)½ oz lemon juiceTop with ginger ale
Garnish with a cherry or a single raspberry (for the drama)
Shake the bourbon, Chambord, and lemon juice over ice. Strain into a glass, top with ginger ale, and swirl until it glows like regret.
It’s dark, sweet, and deceptively smooth—just like those “you might wanna sit down for this” family conversations.
