All of these regions have a common theme of great Golf, Food and of course....wine! The best bit though - they're so affordable and accessible!
Throw in some real Aussie wildlife with Kangaroos lining the courses and other native fauna, and this is the real hidden secret of Golf in South Australia.
If you want to escape the City and get out towards a variety of Golf courses, rolling countryside, beaches and wineries, check this one out.

Episode 4 features Sam Hughes - Club Operations Manager at Glenelg Golf Club. Glenelg is a stunning venue, located only a kilometer or so from the coast and is a must visit on your Adelaide Golfing itinerary.
It is a hard and firm, sand-based course which has undergone significant improvement in more modern times and this also extends to the supporting facilities. Sam talks us through what's great about the club and course and tells us about some of his favorite holes.
Of course, this is Golf in Adelaide so there's also some discussion about the high quality hospitality that's on offer.

This episode features Brent Hill from the South Australian Tourism Commission Shaun Green from Golf Explorer who operate the "Four Reds" package.
Brent talks through what makes South Australia so great as a tourist destination. As well as giving us a run down of Golf courses and regions, Brent highlights some of the must-do's while you're in town. A Golfer himself, Brent plays at Glenelg Golf Club located in the seaside suburb of Glenelg.
Shaun Green of Golf Explorer tells us about the awesome and unique "Four Reds" package. There are a range of packages that see Golfers stay at top quality hotels and play a selection of Adelaide's top courses. After the round players wine and dine but the unique feature here is that each club features a partner winery with a premium red wine. A great way to structure your package in Adelaide.

In our first "Club" episode of the mini-series, we start with the course consistently regarded as the number one course in South Australia - Royal Adelaide.
General Manager, Andrew Gay tells us about this stunning sand-based course in the western suburbs of Adelaide and only about 1km from the sea, "RA" as it is affectionately known has a strong and proud history dating back over 100 years.
The course has hosted many big tournaments including the Men's and Women's Australian Opens but it is also equally important to its members. The demanding but fair course has a strong Alistair McKenzie design hand, and it is a clever routing with several holes returning to the high point of the course. It also plays typically "Aussie firm".
If you want something unique - it doesn't get much more unique than having a metropolitan train line running through the property. It literally passes about 20 yards from the clubhouse! Royal Adelaide is a must visit on your South Australian itinerary. You'll love it!

We kick off our first Australian mini-series with a trip to South Australia and its capital city - Adelaide. Gabe also welcomes a new host in Leighton Walker, an Australian native now living and managing a Golf Club in the UK.
Gabe speaks to Leighton about the delights of Golf in South Australia as well as in-and-around Adelaide. Adelaide is a cosmopolitan "boutique" city with great food, wine, art and culture as well as some amazing Golf Courses! It has its own mini-sandbelt and the big four courses of Grange, Kooyonga, Glenelg and Royal Adelaide may capture much of the attention, but there are plenty of other great courses in and outside of the city to choose from.
Theses courses are kind on the budget too. This place may not be on everyone's radar but it certainly should be and we encourage you to get in early on this one!
