I was at TechCrunch Disrupt this week learning about new startups and their products. One of the companies I learned about was GolfSense – a  company that helps you work on your golf swing.

Golfsense needs a piece of hardware that you place on your golf glove. The dongle connects via Bluetooth and monitors your swing. Once connected, you set your stance and swing the golf club.

The dongle will send back data and report your swing. You can record the data to analyze later.

GolfSense works on all iOS devices. If you use the iPhone or iPod and have the device in your pocket while you swing, it can give you even more data!

The iPhone 5 got released today. Even though this show is about the iPad, I wanted to go through the features of the new phone. Coming in 16,32, and 64 GB models, the iPhone 5 will be slightly larger and contain 4G. It will also contain the new 9 pin “Lightning” connector, which you can get an adapter to use a 30 pin cable.

They also announced a new iPod and iPod Nano. No mention of an iPad mini. Maybe next month…
