Att Golfströmmen kommer att kollapsa och leda in oss i en ny istid i är en klassisk trop i katastrof-filmer, och på senare tid har det kommit studier som pekar mot att den faktiskt är svagare nu än den varit på över tusen år. Vad skulle det innebära om havsströmmarna som leder värme från ekvatorn hit till norra Europa faktiskt skulle kollapsa?
Men P3 Dystopia ställer sig också frågan om oron för Golfströmmens framtid verkligen är befogad eller ett resultat av sensationalistisk, och slapphänt, medierapportering.
