I've been sick and still recovering. I missed last week because of it. And sort of sad about it. But that's out of my control. Ickiness! 

So, today's reading is Matthew 5:21-37, and it's the sixth Sunday after the Epiphany; next week is the last Sunday before Lent. That means we have shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, and all that coming there. so, if you subscribe, you'll get more explanation about Shrove Tuesday (or mardi gras) and different traditions.
