In Genesis 35, we see that Jacob's life was a mix of good and bad days. Throughout his life, he experienced both victory and defeat. The same is true for us. As the people of God, our eternity is secure and we can have the joy and peace of the Lord in this life. However, that doesn't mean everything always goes our way. We will all have good days and bad days. But our ultimate hope is in Jesus and eternity with Him.
