The journey through Holy Week brings us to Friday, a day that hangs heavy in history, known to us as Good Friday. It is a day of profound sorrow and solemn remembrance, for this is the day Jesus was crucified. The path to the cross was brutal, marked by betrayal, denial, unjust trials, and immense suffering. Yet, as we stand at the foot of the cross, we are invited to look beyond the physical pain and see the depth of the love that held Him there. He was not a helpless victim; He was a willing sacrifice, laying down His life for the redemption of humanity.
