today is good friday.

the word good is first mentioned in Genesis 1:4, when God saw the light, that it was good…

later, Jesus would declare, “I am the light of the world.”

and on this day 2,000 years ago, Jesus said, “it is finished.”

yet for three hours, darkness covered the whole earth.

it looked like the light had been overcome—

that darkness had won.

but darkness didn’t know…

there was a third day coming—

it had already been appointed.

what is written will come to pass.
