Climate change is happening, has always happened and will continue to happen. Experts believe burning fossil fuels are not the primary cause of climate change. Synthetic plastic polymers, especially those ending up in the oceans, may be a more significant factor in affecting CO2 levels and increasing the temperature. The plastic interferes with photosynthesis and traps heat, potentially impacting climate change.
