In this episode, our host, Erin Jean, chats with Allison Duvall and Kendall Martin to discuss the powerful witness and ministry offered by Episcopal Migration Ministries.  EMM is the refugee resettlement and migration ministry of The Episcopal Church. EMM welcomes refugees, educates communities, and mobilizes congregations to advocate for the protection and rights of all refugees and migrants.

Bio: The Rev. Erin Jean Warde (she/her) is an Episcopal priest, spiritual director, recovery coach, and writer. She is the author of Sober Spirituality: The Joy of a Mindful Relationship with Alcohol. She offers a course, Discerning Sobriety, which helps participants bring spiritual practices and mindfulness into their relationship with alcohol. Allison Duvall serves on Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe’s staff as Senior Manager for Church and Community Engagement for Episcopal Migration Ministries. Ms. Duvall joined EMM in 2013, initially focusing on supporting local refugee resettlement affiliate community engagement programs and later developing EMM's church engagement work. Today, Ms. Duvall guides EMM’s church and community engagement work and programs, including Neighbor to Neighbor, the Episcopal Migration Response Network, the Rainbow Initiative, and, until recently, the development of new refugee resettlement affiliate and community partners.

Kendall Martin serves as the Senior Manager for Communications at Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM), the refugee resettlement and migration ministry of The Episcopal Church. In this role, she leads communication strategy for EMM’s headquarters and provides communications support to its network of 15 local resettlement partners.
