Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future. (NIV)

 

In this sermon, we look at the context of Jeremiah 29 and see that the verse we know so well, was actually written to a people that did not want to hear it. It was written to the Israelites in captivity in Babylon, but it can be used as a model for how we as believers should live in this fallen world! We are in the world but not of it!
