Life is best lived with close ties to people who are also trying to follow Jesus, but the most important part of the mix is the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit gives us boldness to speak about our deepest commitments.  He gives us the ability to follow God.  He is God's way of speaking to us when we need direction the most.
