⦁ What did Jesus say that made the people in the synagogue angry?

⦁ How do you feel if someone speaks truthfully to you?

⦁ Why do we often avoid looking truthfully at ourselves? How far will you go to avoid hearing the truth about yourself?

⦁ One of Luke’s emphasis is that God’s love is for everyone, in talking to the people Jesus gives examples from the Old Testament to show that God has never been bound to one people.

⦁ Where outside of the church do we see God at work today?

⦁ How can we share in God’s mission in those places?
