On this Palm Sunday of our special Lenten Series called Guided to the Cross, we follow Jesus as he enters Jerusalem in humility on his way to Calvary. In Week 3 of our special Lenten Series called Guided to the Cross, we are drawn to Calvary to receive peace. In word and song, we contemplate how to live lives of peace in our hearts, souls and minds through Christ, who brought peace between us and God by the cross. May this time of worship bless us with the love of Jesus.

As we take our guided journey to the cross there are many things the Lord wants us to see, forgiveness, hope, love, peace, etc. Today we are going to take a stop and look at the gift of hope. The Bible describes "hope" as a steadfast anchor to the soul. It's what keeps us grounded and moving forward in times of dismay and discomfort. Hope is what helps when things look bleak. Hope is what we need in times of grief. Hope will inspire that God has a plan and future. May the Lord bless our time together in Him.

"He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." Colossians 1:13-14

You begin life "listening" to your parents. Then you get to school and you "listen" to your teachers. Then you graduate and now it is time to "listen" to your employer. All through life we find ourselves "listening" to someone or something. But what about Jesus? How much time, energy, and space do we pour into "listening" to Him? How often do we ask the question, "I wonder what Jesus has to say about this?" Today as we celebrate the Transfiguration of Christ it gives us a moment to reflect on these words, "This is my Son, my Chosen One, Listen to Him!" May the Lord bless our time together.

The culmination of school is one's graduation. The culmination of an engagement is one’s wedding day. The culmination of a move is settling into a new home. What’s the culmination of your baptism?
