SUNDAY April 30- 2023- YEAR 2- Episode# 61 Good Sunday Morning with Fr Andre on KNUS 710 am. Easter Season Special episode: Why the world would reject the Good News of Salvation.

 

On this Sunday, inspired by psalm 69, and by the Prayer of St. Francis, known as “make me a channel of your peace”, Fr Andre explores the contradictions between the world and the Gospel of Good News. Why would the world reject the message of Christ, when Christ’s message is nothing but goodness, forgiveness of sins, peace, healing, joy and life? It seems such a contradiction that the world would abstain from accepting what is good for it. The deception is that the world might be imprisoned in the shadows of things instead of being the true life for all. Fr Andre reminds us of the myth of the cavern of Plato according to which the man who is not used to the light thinks that the shadows of life are the life. The power of the good news of Christ is that it dares to preach the Kingdom of Heaven to people who are locked in the whims of life and to free those who live in darkness. if the world continues to persecute Christianity, the suffering, betrayal, evil, wars, deceptions, sadness, sickness, famine and death will enter humanity into the cave of the graves and it will impact the human joy, life and the peace of mankind. How does the Mission of Hope and Mercy help carrying forward despite persecution and difficulties the Message of the Good News of the Gospel.
